Accessibility Statement
a2zex is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and actively working to conform to the relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
We are actively working towards WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliance. We want to be fully transparent about what currently works and what we are still improving.
What We Support Today
- Keyboard Navigation: Most of the standard web platform layout (dashboards, menus, and forms) supports keyboard (Tab) navigation.
- Screen Readers: We have established a foundational semantic HTML structure designed to work with JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and ChromeVox.
- Skip Links: We provide a "Skip to main content" link for keyboard and screen reader users to bypass repetitive navigation links.
- Color Contrast: Both our standard Light and Dark themes exceed the minimum WCAG 2.1 contrast ratios for text readability.
- Responsive Design: Our platform supports zooming up to 200% via standard browser controls and reflows neatly on smaller screens.
Known Limitations (The Truth)
While we strive for complete accessibility, there are currently a few areas where we fall short. We are actively working to address these:
- Interactive Brain Games: Some of our highly interactive Canvas-based games (like Cosmic Chess or Checkers) currently require a mouse or touch interface to operate and are not fully compatible with keyboard-only or screen-reader navigation.
- Dynamic Images & Avatars: While we have labeled core navigational icons, some user-uploaded or dynamic profile avatars may occasionally lack descriptive alternative text (alt tags).
